The clinic has an extensive car park with 2 dedicated disabled parking spaces, and access is via a ramp allowing ready access for all.

Inside the clinic we have a dedicated reception, which is staffed by one of our four receptionists, and a separate waiting room with a daily  newspaper and magazines, plus there is a toy box to keep children entertained. Chilled drinking water is available within the waiting room, and tea or coffee is available on request. On a good day you may even be offered a biscuit!

There are four individual treatment rooms, all equipped with the latest electrotherapy equipment, and a fully equipped rehabilitation gymnasium which is used extensively as part of nearly all treatments. In addition to this we have a separate room that contains an isokinetic dynamometer, which we use for assessment, rehabilitation and research within musculo-skeletal medicine.

STAFF

The clinic presently employs employs 5 therapists who all have extensive knowledge within the field of musculo-skeletal medicine. Several of the staff are qualified in acupuncture and manipulative medicine, and the Clinical Director is qualified in Injection Therapy- so,under the prescription of a doctor, can administer cortico-steroid (“steroid”) injections.

All the therapists are actively involved in post-graduate training, ranging from Diploma courses through to PhD. Also staff provide post graduate training to GP’s and physiotherapists, as well as lecturing at university.

There are two dedicated receptionists, a Practice Administrator and a Practice Manager who deal with all non- physiotherapy issues, such as appointments, and invoicing. Any specific queries will be dealt with by the dedicated person responsible.

Appointments are 30 minutes, although occasionally the initial assessment and some rehabilitation sessions may be required to be 60 minutes.

Back In Action Rehabilitation is recognised by all major medical insurance companies and payment can be made by Mastercard, Visa, Switch, check or cash. Invoices are sent out ,automatically, at the month end.
